Welcome to Doncaster HF Rambling Club – an independent,

non-profit-making walking club.  The club was founded in 1948 under

the auspices of the Holiday Fellowship, now known as HF Holidays,

to whom we are affiliated, and has a wide cross section of membership

from all parts of Doncaster. The Club aims to provide, in good company,

opportunities for the healthy enjoyment of countryside and the open air.

With over a hundred members, outings are arranged every two weeks

in the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors

and Coast, the Yorkshire Wolds, the Lincolnshire Wolds and the South

Pennines. At each venue three guided walks of varying degrees of

difficulty and distance are arranged.  In addition, residential outings

are arranged to more distant areas such as the Lake District and North

Wales.

Transport to all walks is by private coach and participating members

are picked up and dropped off at a number of points around Doncaster.

The club welcomes potential new members who are encouraged to try a

couple of walks before paying the annual subscription.
